The visually-challenged artist, Tennessee Loveless, will be honored with an exhibition and reception on Saturday, July 14th from 2 to 5 PM. Severely color-blind, Loveless overcame the obvious obstacles on his road to becoming a young tyro. Utilizing a system of mathematical formulas to plot his color charts, his POP/OP paintings vibrate with color as his imagery delights and surprises collectors. Chosen by the family of Chuck Jones as one of the Centennial Homage artists, Loveless has applied his skill and undeniable talent to the cartoon characters made famous by the four-time Oscar-winning director. Unveiling his first Homage work, “The Big Kaboom”, Loveless will also be signing and dedicating a limited number of commemorative Comic Con 2012 Chuck Jones Gallery posters.
