ABNORMAL JEAN

After the release of the initial Metropass NFT collection, Loveless City's main focus shifted to Abnormal Jean. The character was based on a portrait of Marilyn Monroe originally drawn for the Cowboy Wasabi fine art series. Through continual redrawing and redrafting of that original piece, her form evolved into the complex creation she is today. Abnormal Jean is named after Marilyn Monroe's birth name, "Norma Jeane," but her character has been genetically altered into an abnormal, godlike state.

Abnormal Jean's face is broken into 11 interchangeable Sketchwave-style zones, each containing dozens of variant layers that connect seamlessly with one another. Combined with accessory, hair, and background variants, this system produced 8,888 unique digital originals. This was created in Uptown/Argyle - Chicago and Hayes Valley - San Francisco, CA.
