ONE BOY

Taiwanese functional-apparel brand ONE BOY — famous for its "assault jacket" and "ice-armor jacket" outerwear and often dubbed Taiwan's "national jacket" — marked its 13th anniversary with its first-ever cross-border art collaboration with Tennessee Loveless. In combination with Justin Chou (JUSTIN XX):  the Taiwanese "fashion genius" who designed Chinese Taipei's 2020 Tokyo Olympics parade uniforms, brought on to translate the collaboration into wearable pieces.

Chou fused ONE BOY's outerwear DNA with Loveless's pop-art portraits, built around four iconic figures — Einstein, Tesla, Coco Chanel, and Andy Warhol — rendered across a candy-bright palette (white, grey, black, lavender, romantic pink, sunset orange, spotlight yellow, and sky blue). The line spanned about 14 limited-edition pieces head-to-toe: T-shirts, pants, shorts, jackets, bags, and a bucket hat, with ONE BOY's logo woven subtly through the streetwear-forward designs. It launched exclusively at ONE BOY's Taipei East District flagship and online store, with a limited-edition collab pin thrown in for buyers.

This was one of Tennessee’s favorite collaborations in apparel to date.
