One of Tennessee Loveless's earliest ventures into licensed design was a collaboration with Speedo USA, created specifically for the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil. Because Tennessee worked exclusively in acrylic rather than digital media, each design began as a hand-painted piece on gesso board before being carefully vectorized for production on apparel — a meticulous, labor-intensive process that preserved the organic texture and energy of his original brushwork. The collection showcased two of his signature styles, West Coast Geometrics and Sketchwave, applied across swimsuits, swim caps, and backpacks in both USA and Brazil color palettes, celebrating the spirit of the Games through his distinct artistic lens.
