TAPEI ART EXPO

Tennessee Loveless brought his biographical sketchwave portraiture to an international audience for the first time with a showcase at the Taipei Art Expo in Taiwan. The exhibition marked a milestone moment for the artist, offering Taiwanese and international audiences a first look at original works from his acclaimed Drag Landscapes series, alongside large-format cold press paper prints of his U.S. series Art Outsiders, reprinted in Asia specifically for the exhibition.

 

Most notably, this marked the first time Drag Landscapes — Loveless's evocative exploration of identity, performance, and place — had ever been exhibited outside the United States, positioning Taipei as the launch point for the series' global reach.
