In partnership with SKYNET and their licensed character Teddy, Tennessee Loveless created his first collaboration with the iconic brand Casio, bringing his signature Sketchwave style to the project. Working within the given theme of "Chinatown," Loveless drew on his experience collaborating with artists in Hong Kong and Shanghai, as well as his time living in the heart of San Francisco's Chinatown as a young adult.

 

The project resulted in two collections: a monochromatic, classic Sketchwave piece, and a bright neon-on-black piece capturing the romantic glow of neon lights at night — a motif Loveless fell in love with across both his stateside and mainland/Hong Kong locations.

 

The accompanying commercial was one of Loveless's favorite outcomes of the project, one that fully infused his personality and artistic voice into the collaboration.
